The Estate Trentham | Trentham, Victoria, Australia
Keith and Gunny held a beautiful and relaxed micro wedding with just a few family members at The Estate Trentham. We absolutely fell in love with this venue and was the perfect space for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception.
The Estate Trentham is an original c. 1902 Federation home set in the heart of Trentham. The Venue itself is surrounded by wonderful established gardens including a mini orchard and harvest gardens. Inside of the residence you’ll find Scandinavian interiors, fresh white walls, dark floors and airy rooms, complemented by natural wood furniture.
The main house features two spacious bedrooms, and the original potato pickers shed, just a few steps from the main house has been artfully converted into the third bedroom. There is a barn located adjacent to the house which can be used for weddings, making it the perfect spot to host an intimate wedding for up to 60 guests.
Keith & Gunny got ready together in the beautiful potato pickers shed, located across the garden, seperate to the house their guests were staying in. It’s a delightful space, beautifully decorated and perfectly set up for couples.
After having a drink with their guests we all moved to the front of the house to have the ceremony. Zena Lythgo officiated the ceremony with Keiths family in attendance. Gunny’s family watched on from the comfort of their homes in Norway through the magic of zoom. Covid separated many loved ones and Keith and Gunny were no exception. After the borders opened these two held their own belated celebration in Norway.
After signing the registry and lots of hugs and kisses we drove just a short distance up a road that runs next to the property. The road was lined with beautiful trees and native plants which was the perfect spot to for the couples portrait session.
Back at the house the family sat down for drinks and nibbles before being seating under the trees in the garden for the sweetest reception dinner we ever did see!
